Jamie Lynn Spears is reportedly unfazed by her sister Britney‘s latest Instagram attack. According to sources close to the family, Jamie Lynn, who rose to fame on Nickelodeon’s “Zoey 101,” is dismissing her sister’s shocking comments as untrue. Of course, this isn’t the first time Britney Spears has called out her sister Jamie. In 2021, Britney slammed the actress and other members of her family, accusing them of hurting her deeply and “killing” her dreams.
Jamie Lynn Spears Reportedly Unfazed By Sister Britney’s Latest Instagram Attack
A source close to Jamie Lynn and Britney Spears told Page Six that Jamie, 35, and her family are unfazed by Britney’s latest claims. The insider said Jamie isn’t “really concerned about the post,” mainly because it’s allegedly full of lies.
The source also added that Britney’s claim that Jamie Lynn and her partner never let her “hold” her youngest child, Ivey Joan, is another fabrication, adding that the “Toxic” singer “held Ivey” and “Ivey loves her.”
Jamie Lynn’s reported reaction came hours after Britney blasted her and other family members on Instagram. She posted a photo of Dakota Fanning’s character from the project “Uptown Girls” flipping someone off and wrote, “I will find a new family!!!”
“Jamie Lynn never let me hold [her daughter] Ivy one time when I would visit in Louisiana during covid in two week trips and [my ex-husband] Kevin [Federline] wouldn’t let me use the bathroom when I would pick my children up in their house,” Britney continued.
She claimed that her family “made me feel like a slave” before calling out the alleged “secret things they did behind my back.”
Britney Spears Has Called Out Jamie Lynn Spears Before In Shocking Social Media Post
This isn’t the first time that Britney has called out Jamie Lynn or other members of the Spears family. The “Outrageous” singer previously slammed Jamie Lynn in 2021 over her 2017 performance at the Radio Disney Music Awards.
During the show, Jamie Lynn appeared on stage with other singers and performed covers of some of Britney’s biggest hits. While cameras showed Britney flashing a big smile during the performance, she admitted years later that she wasn’t fond of her sister’s gig.
“I don’t like that my sister showed up at an awards show and performed MY SONGS to remixes!!!!!” Britney wrote. “My so-called support system hurt me deeply.”
Britney didn’t stop there. The mother of two mentioned the headline-making conservatorship that ran from 2008 until 2021 in her post. According to Britney, the conservatorship “killed my dreams” and tainted her faith in humanity.
She added, “All I have is hope and hope is the only thing in this world that is very hard to kill…yet people still try.”
Britney Spears Describes Turning Point In Her Relationship With Her Sister Jamie Lynn
Britney shared more about her relationship with her sister in her book, “The Woman in Me,” and claimed the former actress found solace in her pain. According to Britney, her relationship with her sister reached a new low when she reached out to her in 2019 after finding herself in involuntary rehab.
Britney said that instead of coming to her rescue, Jamie Lynn allegedly told Britney to “stop” fighting the conservatorship. “There’s nothing you can do about it, so stop fighting it,” Britney recalled.
Britney added that things only worsened when she left rehab, and her sister attempted to get her to sign on to work with her on several projects, including a sitcom and a joint talk show, before revealing she was releasing a memoir, “Things I Should’ve Said.”
“My sister and I should have found comfort in each other, but unfortunately that hasn’t been the case,” Britney shared. “As I was fighting the conservatorship and receiving a lot of press attention, she was writing a book capitalizing on it. She rushed out salacious stories about me, many of them hurtful and outrageous. I was really let down.”
Britney Previously Said She Wants To Sue Her Entire Family For What She Went Through

Britney previously testified in court before a federal judge ended her conservatorship and said she wants “justice” after what her family allegedly put her through. “I’m only 5’4″ and I’ve played the bigger person my entire life … do you know how hard that is ???” she said in 2021.
Jamie Lynn Says She’s Always Been There To Support Her Sister

Shortly after her statement, Jamie Lynn shared a series of updates to her Instagram Stories and acknowledged her sister’s claims. While she admitted she was probably too hard on Britney at times, Jamie Lynn said she has always been there to support her sister.
“Maybe I didn’t support her the way the public would like me to with a hashtag on a public platform, but I can assure you that I’ve supported my sister — long before there was a hashtag — and I’ll support her long after,” she said, according to NBC News.
